I recently had a great experience with Alex (Jordan) at Salon Hype in La Grange. From the moment I walked in, she was friendly, welcoming and professional. Any anxiety I had about getting a haircut went away. Alex really took the time to listen to what I wanted; long layers and face framing pieces. Alex was confident and it was evident that she has a passion for her craft. She loves what she does and she's so good at it! Her dedication to customer service was exceptional and it really made the entire experience (it was my first time visiting a hair salon in over 7 years!) truly enjoyable. Alex at Salon Hype in La Grange will be my go-to hair girl from now on. 10/10 recommend booking an appointment with her. Seriously. Thank you Alex, I'm obsessed with my new hair!

Ive always struggled to find a hair stylist to give me the perfect blonde, until I found Jordan. Each time its all business and perfection for someone who has had a tough time finding a hair stylist in Chicago that can achieve the perfect blonde. Update: After my initial experience, the salon reached out to me and offered to fix the issue. I really appreciate how professionally and kindly they handled everything. They gave me a different stylist who did an amazing job, and I left the salon very happy this time. I also really liked how genuinely they wanted to improve their service — that meant a lot to me. After being a patron for over a decade for me and my 2 girls; I think we are no longer going to call this salon for our family needs or recommend anymore. I made an appointment for a prom updo a few weeks ago. We showed up early, was taken back on time, and showed photos to the "stylist" of what idea my daughter had. All seemed, "Yeah, let's do it." from her. After the session, it was sloppy, nothing close to the idea (outside curls and over the single shoulder), and many blond bobby pins fully exposed on dark hair that looked and felt unsecure on the neckline. I can't do hair, and what was over $70 was something I could have done at home for free and wish we did. Nothing but Frizzy curls and a half of an idea was done.
