Salon El Rio

My stylist moved to this salon from a place that recently closed in Baxter. I followed her because she does an excellent job cutting my hair. The salon is nice, but upstairs, so if you can't do stairs, you won't be able to go up for all the salon offers.

Theresa did my hair today. I couldn't be more happy with her work. She took the time to listen,made me feel comfortable. She was awesome. My hair is beautiful. She is now my girl... for sure. Thank you so much. See next week for business😉

I had Miranda color my hair. I chose Miranda based off good reviews. It was my 1st time coloring my hair which I explained so that she could advise me good aftercare. My hair was beautiful for the very short time it lasted. I followed instructions to a T and within a week my coloring was nearly completely gone. I reached out to Miranda. I had hopes she would offer to fix it. Unfortunately she was rude and gave me my money back and told me to take my services elsewhere. I would not recommend Miranda to anyone. I'm so disheartened by how cold she was. That is bad business. I haven't colored my hair since because my experience has scared me permanently.

I came in with my mom for a haircut, and man, whoever styled my hair (Alice?) She did a fantastic job. Super gentle. My hair came out the way I wanted it to and I'm so happy I decided to go local. My mom wasn't that happy about her cut though. It was too long in the back and she wanted a cut that went short to long, back to front. I really reccomend this place either way. Reasonable prices, and it looks like they do other services as well. Very nice atmosphere, old fashioned but cozy.

I have finally found my hair salon!! I relocated to the Brainerd area 4 years ago….and have been looking for a hair stylist ever since. After visiting several local salons, I just wasn’t able to find a good fit, and was becoming discouraged figuring I would have to return to the cities for future hair services. I thought I would try one more time and so glad I did! I found this salon and Theresa online; made an appointment for hair cut/trim, and highlight. Theresa is awesome!!! She listened so well, offering some suggestions, etc. Very professional and knows what she is doing! She did an excellent job in both haircut (took off just the right amount) and hair color (Subtle yet full highlights throughout). I cannot recommend Theresa highly enough!!
