Laura is a literal angel! As an international student, I’ve never been to any salons other than my usual stylist’s. This is the first time that someone else has touched my hair, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I love the way she cut my hair and she’s always super super nice! I DEFINITELY recommend booking with her and in general at this salon, they’re very professional and friendly!

Stephanie was an angel! She took the time to listen to my concerns and made me feel very comfortable the entire process. She did an amazing job cutting my crazy curly hair, and left it feeling so fresh and looking great! If you have wavy, curly hair and live on the eastern shore, it is 100% worth the drive to come visit Stephanie at Salon 854.

Oh my gosh, let me tell ya’ll about the amazing Jordan...My mom gets her hair done at this salon by Brian (who has done my hair on and off since I was in 5th grade and always rocked it) and had first told me about Jordan when she told me she had a cat she was looking to give to a good home...so I first met her in person July 2020 to adopt the cat and I had dark brown, box dyed hair at this time and had been dying it the darkest shade of brown from the box for THREE YEARS at this point. My mom had been begging me to do something different with my hair for a long time and I told her I didn’t know anyone in the Newark, DE area who could do something edgy with it because I didn’t just want simple highlights; that’s when she mentioned Jordan from her salon who I got my sweet cat from! Great atmosphere and friendly staff! We were passing through the state and booked a highlight and two haircuts for my husband and I. Stephanie and Laura did a great job, made us feel comfortable and they have a very clean and nice atmosphere. Stops on the road can be nail biting for a female and they met the challenge!
