This place sucks!!! The picture on google isn’t even where it is or how it looks. It had been years since I had been to this place. I was 17 the last time I went here. I am 26 now. So I decided to give them a chance again since they’re still open (I don’t know how) and more Black people have moved out to Tracy since the last time I’ve been there. Maybe they’ll step up their game? I’m afraid that wasn’t the case. Yesterday I came to find hot oil treatment. The African lady said, “hot oil treatment? What’s that? We don’t have that”. I pointed to the products behind her at the cash register. Lo and behold, there were 2 type of bottles of hot oil treatment there, different brands. I bought both. She doesn’t even know what she sells at her own store, which is very weird. They also are overprice

As I was already walking out the store due to not finding what I needed one of the ladies behind the register had an ugly/ rude look on her face and said “what are you looking for? “ This was after I had already been looking ( with no help) and I had already asked the other lady working there where to find the hair jewelry for braids. And when I asked she just pointed. I felt the negative energy right away. And I have been there before and have made a purchase in the past. The store itself looks cluttered. But it’s really about the treatment that turned me off this time. They come to America and treat Black Americans like we’re nothing. This is what starts to make some Americans racist against people from other countries that come here. Especially when we are not all raised to be racist. B

Not welcoming at all. Just went here with my gf. We needed a wig for our daughter, and rite away, the first question we asked, she cut us off and said "just tell me what u want!" Then the followed us all around the store, as if their products were gold. Very dirty and unkept. Then I was looking at the earrings and she literally wouldn't even let me hold them until she rung em up. There was 2 pairs I was looking at, and she rung up the most expensive ones when I wanted the other ones. Then when I tried to ask for them to simply hold them next to my ear, I practically had to pull them from her hand, she wanted to say no as if I couldn't touch em if I wasn't going to buy. And again, just because I asked, can I see the other ones, she then said "just tell me which ones!" Then my lil daughter j

This store is not what it should be. I guess they basically use this as a braid shop because majority of the products are scarce and or old/outdated, second hand to sell products. So disappointing.
