I really wanted to love this place, i really did! My hairstylist was so kind and the atmosphere of the salon is amazing. However, I wanted a full blonde highlight and my hairstylist, Kourtney decided to do a partial. No big deal. First issue is the length of time I was there. My appointment was at 10 am, and I didn’t even leave the salon until nearly 3 in the afternoon! I’ve had lots of hair appointments in my life and I’ve NEVER had it last past 2 hours. I could excuse that if my hair looked any different leaving the salon! Nearly 5 hours and my hair looks the same if not worse than before. Attached are photos, the photo taken outside is the before, photo taken in the mirror is after. I also found a weird bleach streak across the top of my head that is hideous and many people have comment

I’ve been going to Addis (owner) for over 10 years! If you have curly hair and need someone that knows how to cut and style curly hair - she’s the one you want. She specializes in textured/curly hair and know her wait list can get long! I’ve known many other people that go to other stylists at Roots (if you don’t have curly or have color needs) that also do a great job too!

This was my first ever curly cut and I could not be more happier, it was everything I wanted and more, I almost cried I was so happy. Syd was so personable and she immediately made me feel comfortable, the wash was super relaxing and she shaped my hair exactly how I wanted, she basically read my mind when it came to shape and length. I will only be going to see her from now on

Addis is an incredible hair stylist and business owner. I worked with her on the interior design of her lovely salon, and I saw how much passion & love she has for her work. I recently got my hair done (cut and color) and loved the whole process and love how it’s turned out. Megan was my hairdresser and she was fantastic. She walked me through the process (I was nervous), she recommended products in various price ranges for me, and even helped me pick a shade to match my skin tone. Overall she made me feel very comfortable. Also, the decor in this studio is THE CUTEST.
