Rhoten's Barber Shop

Mike Holland, hands down is one of the top barbers around. Also the Women that work in there also are great barbers. The environment was awesome. I barely had to ask what I needed done for a haircut and Mike was on it. Very knowledgeable and talented. I recommend this place to anyone. Thanks again Mike for the 50’s style fade. Leo

Edit to action: I’ve raised my rating from 1 to 3 stars after the owner reached out. The issue has been addressed, and I’d be willing to try the shop again with a different barber for that particular type of haircut. Original: Worst haircut I’ve ever had. Asked for a bald fade. The woman cutting my hair was shaking so bad there was no way she was going to able to do a straight line. Didn’t even attempt to “fade”. I don’t write reviews but this was astronomically bad.

They’re fantastic…Destiny does my husband and sons, and Kayla does mine (curly women’s cut and I’m pretty particular) and they are both just fantastic...not only a barber shop! It feels like they’re family when we walk in and it’s such a warm inviting feel. Real people, real conversations, real warmth and real talent with scissors😁 All 4 of us love going in to see all the ladies there!

It looks like a little hole in the wall, but trust me I keep coming back. Haven't had a bad experience here yet. Just be advised if you're planning on coming on a Saturday, book an appointment as they always seem to be busy

#1 Bring cash and everything will go great. I wasn't exactly sure about my cut. I'm sure that's got to be irritating to a stylist to some point. She did her thing and it looked great without a single comment from me. Was in and back to the office in no time. Oh, if you get caught without cash, Food Lion will get you right if you don't go over $40.
