Rendez-Vous Nails

I just moved to SF from Chicago and was looking for a new nail salon. I get dip every few weeks and an occasional pedicure. I am so happy I found this salon and Gina. She does such a good job. The other ladies are very nice and the salon is cute and clean.

Good pedicure, GREAT foot massage. These women are STRONG and really melt the stress out of your calves and feet. Pedicure itself is basic (but what else do you really need?) You’ll walk out with pretty toes and super relaxed feet. Plus they’re all lovely in there. Tip them well!

I’ve been here three times now and every time, the outcome exceeds expectations. Communicate clearly up front what you want and the result will be great. Gel nails last 3 weeks, and I’m often able to get a same day appointment. This is a long-standing local spot in SF that works hard to earn your business. Make use of the massage chairs for pedicures. Ambiance wise it’s simple - but when the work is this good, it doesn’t matter.

One of the workers was really nice. But overall an awful experience. Place had a tuna smell. The paint on the walls was coming off. One of the ladies ruined the shape of my nails. She went from working on a pedicure (with no gloves) to working on my nails without washing her hands. After she made me rinse in one of the pedicure baths, I walked out.

The worst manicure of my life. Not only did she make me bleed twice but she yelled at me when I did not want to do a gel-off procedure. While I was in there another girl got charged $5 more than discussed for her gel mani removal. To top it all off my nails have chopped within hours and the shape is completely inconsistent from nail to nail.
