Relâche Spa & Salon at Gaylord National Harbor

For my birthday, I went to Relache to unwind. I’m so glad that I did (smile)! I was greeted by Key who was outstanding. She was attentive, kind, and very helpful. Her recommendations were on point and she took very good care of me. I paid for a spa pass. So, I was able to use the jacuzzi, steam sauna, dry sauna, and relaxation room. It was just what I needed. My only concern was that valet parking used to be included and now it’s not ($70 valet parking). I think self-parking is included, so be mindful of this. Not sure how much that is though. If you go, ask for Key. She’s the best!

Edit: Management reached out to my husband after seeing his review on trip advisor. My husband responded back and then got ghosted. Gaylord should really be ashamed for hosting such a subpar facility. My husband and I came to Relâche Spa for anniversary massages, and unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing experiences we’ve ever had, especially for what we paid. There were signs posted everywhere listing a variety of amenities available by request, but several of the items we asked for weren’t even available. Before my massage, my therapist asked if I had any problem areas. I mentioned my shoulders and quads, not realizing that meant the rest of my body would be completely ignored. I recently went to this spa after my husband bought a gift card here. I was skeptical after seeing the reviews but I will say the services I had done weren’t bad (the reviews had me expecting a lot worse) I got a body scrub, massage, facial, & mani/pedi. The body scrub could of been better, massage was decent, facial was decent. The wonderful lady doing mani/pedi was great. After spending almost $900 though, you’d think they would have parking paid for but ended up having to pay $46 to park. The salon furniture itself in the lounge could definitely be updated.

A+++++ service. Did a 50min couples massage that was amazing. The ambiance and everything was top tier. I definitely will be coming back again and would recommend this to family and friends.

Just did a spa day with one of my girlfriends. I normally go to MGM and am very glad I made the switch to try Gaylord. They are starting a new targeted list for locals, which is awesome. It is hard to get a spa day at many hotels in DC when you are local because most of the spots are reserved for hotel guests. The staff was so great and hospitable. The rooms were really nice as was the sauna, steam room, and whirlpool. Way better robes here too.
