2 weeks paid for display ads and both weeks ads were listed on the obituaries page. Why did they not mention placement in the paper BEFORE printing? The week prior all business displays were nicely together in the business section as they should be. I paid a lot for my ads and given the importance of the services being offered, I was very disappointed. I also asked their Editor in advance to please consider adding my letter to this weeks paper. It was also very important as it was to give local law officials due credit. I didn't even so much ad get a reply on even receiving the email. No "thank you for submitting this, we are looking into it". No " sorry we will not be able to add this in this week", NO REPLY AT ALL. Now I am more than disappointed, I am offended. If there is a better weekly newspaper in Virginia covering small towns and rural living, I haven't seen it. The "Rapp Record" is published every Thursday, and is online by Wednesday afternoon. It is truly a paper for the people -- big on advancing local events that the community loves learning about.
