Rainier Hair Studio

I’m so glad I found Jen Reed! I stopped a woman on the street and said I love your haircut, I’m asking everyone about short-haircut stylists, did you by chance get it cut on the WS Peninsula? She said yes! and it was Jen Reed. Rainier Hair Studio is located just a bit south of the bus stop at California/Findlay. I told Jen I needed a short haircut that was Love & Rockets (brought a screenshot) but needed to look corporate enough that when I attended upcoming conventions, I would look stylish and worth 100K. :-) Best of all - after those couple days I needed for my thin floaty hair to settle down into the cut, I felt cute! Pretty much the best compliment I can give to a hair stylist.

I don't have the greatest luck when it comes to finding a good hair stylist, for a multitude of reasons. A friend recommended this salon to me and I am SO grateful. Megan was incredibly kind and personable - I could tell she REALLY truly listened to what I wanted, and made it happen. I am finally feeling good about the state of my hair after almost a year or more of fumbles. Shout out to Jen also, for helping me schedule so easily last minute! I am looking forward to my next visit for sure :)

We (my almost 3 year old and I) saw Megan this morning. It was such a great experience and my kiddo got the best haircut he has ever had. Previously we have visited a kids salon in West Seattle but were never happy with the experience or haircut. Megan provided a great experience - she’s calm, patient, and friendly, plus the haircut is SO cute! My kiddo loved the toys she offered to play with during the cut and the snacks. Looking forward to our next cut!

I love this salon! My hair always looks beautiful for a days after a service. You can really tell that all of the stylists LOVE their clients and what they do. rainier hair studio has the most welcoming vibe. My son has always hated getting haircuts, but he will go to any stylist at rainier hair studio because he says he feels like they understand him. Customer for life.

I have made 2 appointments with this studio. Both on Saturday mornings. Both times, I received a text message within one hour of my appointment time to cancel my appointment because the stylist was sick. Once is understandable. Two times in a row? I'm done.
