I’ve been cutting my own hair and putting off going to a professional for yeaarsss because I didn’t trust my curls with anyone due to numerous negative experiences. I feel like I came in not quite knowing what I wanted, but Desiree was so attentive and took the time to understand what I needed based on my lifestyle and needs - I wanted to be able to do different styles with the little time I had to get ready since I wake up super early to commute to work. She gave me a really great cut that didn’t require straying from my normal method while boosting my confidence. I’m super happy!! Desiree has my trust and I’ll definitely go back when I’m ready for something different from my norm. Thank you Desiree!

I have been getting my hair cut by Desiree since she was at Pretty Pretty Collective, followed her to COH, and now love coming to her own, beautiful salon, Proper Fox Studio. The hair cut she gave me today was absolutely beautiful! Even though she has known me for years, she gave me such an incredible consultation, describing what she thought would be most flattering and did a fantastic job telling me why in detail. I appreciated that so much. It was 100% the right direction and she 100% delivered on what she promised! On top of her expertise, she is a warm and gentle spirit and spending time in her chair always leaves me feeling like I've spent the afternoon with an old friend. Desiree has brought life back to my locks! I have a lot of fine hair that can fall pretty limp and Desiree has some serious skills at creating shape that gives volume, looks great on the second day and grows out in a way that it's hardly noticeable when I'm ready for my next trim. She also colors my hair a gorgeous coffee/mocha/chocolate brown that I absolutely love. Desiree's salon is super cute and cozy and she's great at making you feel pampered and like a proper fox when she's all done with you. I highly recommend!
