I’ve been seeing Ethan for blow-outs for some time now, and every single one has been amazing. After so many consistently great blowouts, I decided to have him cut my hair for the first time last year—and that’s when his precision and attention to detail really stood out. Ethan took his time with the cut, was incredibly thoughtful throughout the appointment, and made sure I was completely happy before I left the salon (and of course finished with another incredible blow-dry). You can tell he genuinely cares about both his work and his clients. I now see Ethan regularly and can’t recommend him enough. If you’re looking for a stylist in SF who is detail-oriented, talented, and truly phenomenal, he’s absolutely worth booking.

I am extremely disheartened by the blowdry I recently had. The stylist was using either extremely hot or extremely cold water during the wash and I had to direct the temperature. As a matter of fact, the water burnt my scalp at some point. Then during the blowdry the stylist was over-baking my hair and I noticed he was literally touching the hairdryer to the brush and directly onto my hair - why would someone do that? This is a huge red flag, folks. I now have to spend months rehabilitating my hair. Although the hair initially felt sleek eventually when I reached home it was so dehydrated and rough. Would not recommend the specific stylist folks. The place looked nice though with friendly reception.

I got my blowout done by Ethan and he did an amazing job! I’m picky about how my blowouts look, but he nailed it! Wish I was a local so I could come here more often

Terrible service. Booked a blow out online and got no confirmation email or reminder text. Saved it in my calendar as 5:15pm and I arrived at 5:15 to be told that it was actually 5pm and they had cancelled my appointment. Without any sort of confirmation message I had no way of knowing this. Claimed they left a voicemail but I did not receive a voicemail - and they didn’t believe me? Tried to show them my phone, uninterested. No where on their website site does it say they cancel appointments so quickly. Go to Blo, dry bar or bloom instead. Might be a tech problem honestly looking at my account online it shows an entirely different time-9:15am? And honestly, when I originally booked over the weekend there were plenty of slots later than 5:15pm. Their page says they’re open until 8pm, fel

Ethan Chee did a fabulous job with my blowout & style! He is a master at his craft. My hair is slick and doesn’t hold curls well but Ethan worked his magic, the hair style lasted all night. The picture is how my hair looked at the end of the night at midnight! I will be going to Ethan for all my event hair needs.
