Passable barber shop. Front door was locked. Most of the chairs haven’t been used in a well. Friendly enough. Scissors probably need a sharpen as they pulled a lot on my hair. Price was $45 which is a lot more than I expected from the outside. As for the end result, I’m actually quite happy with the haircut itself. The experience could just use a little work.
Come here all the time. Barrie is always helpful. Prices are steep for someone like me who is from down South, but I challenge you to find a better price for quality of service. Only barber in town worth going to.
My boys had to freshen up while visiting DC from AZ and they got them in and did a fantastic job. My son and husband have been going to the same barber for many years who they love but Popular Cuts did not disappoint. They were all also super friendly. We would definitely be back if we were in town.

A man selling marijuana came in while I was getting my hair cut and was trying to offer it to the employees. After my hair was butchered I was told it's a flat rate of 50$ a haircut and being who I am I tipped 10$ totaling 60$. Since my haircut I have been told by three other customers that have gone there they were all charged the same flat rate of 25$. Why was I being overcharged for my haircut when three black customers I talked to got charged equally 25$? I don't want to play the race card but I defin
