Polished Nails

Worked with Tiffany on these deep mulberry shine gels, and honestly, I’m always impressed here. The team is genuinely kind, creative, and really good at what they do, they take your idea and elevate it. My gel extensions last forever, and the staff is flexible, supportive, and meticulous about maintenance. It’s one of those salons that just gets it right.

I used to love Polished. The staff are very friendly and professional, but the quality of the service completely depends on who you get. My most recent acrylic full set did not last me even a week. Soon after leaving the salon, air bubbles started popping up on my nails because the gel had not cured fully as the nail tech was doing them. This led to there being weird black holes in my nails. By the end of the first day, a chunk of gel had chipped off one of my nails. Within three days, the cuticles had lifted and the nails started to come off. These are not problems I usually have at Polished, but recently the quality has seem to have gone down. If I am paying $80 for my nails, I would like them to last more than a couple days before they are coming off me. Very disappointing.

Emma is an incredible nail artist!! She did my nails in less than an hour after they had gotten messed up from me peeling my gel nail polish off. She truly saved my nails and was the sweetest person ever! Highly recommend. Pricing is not bad as well!

5 Stars - Emma is a true gem! I saw Emma for the first time today, and she absolutely lived up to all the fantastic reviews I read online! She was wonderful, welcoming, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. The salon is very cute, clean, everyone was very kind, and the music was great :) Her technical skill is truly top-notch. She did an incredible job building up my nails with the builder gel, giving them a beautiful, flawless structure and shape. As builder gel is a staple where I'm from in Europe, I was worried about finding someone good in DC (and didn't want to switch to dip powder), but I am so happy I found her! I walked out with exactly what I wanted. I'm already looking forward to my next appointment and highly recommend Emma and Polished to anyone looking for amazing nail

I've been searching for a good nail salon and finally found this one. Anna is fantastic! She did a crazy nail design for me on my first visit and recommended the gel builder technique during my second visit. I wasn't sure what I wanted, but she listened and guided me perfectly. I've been a loyal customer ever since. Highly recommend!
