Pleasantville Barber Shop

We were in need of a haircut for my son, but the barber rushed through his cut while spending much more time with the older customers. We paid the same price as the adults, and I still left a tip out of courtesy, but we both walked away disappointed and confused. My son’s hair is not difficult to cut, yet it felt like the barber wasn’t comfortable using scissors. This was our second time giving this place a try, and unfortunately, it will be our last visit.

Have had haircuts & shaves & extremely satisfied. Nice people and good service. Prices are equal to most good barber shops. I could pay less, but it would show!

Back in 2001 while still serving the Marine Corps, went in to this barbershop to get haircut and Mr Magnotta end up giving me buzz cut and then after told that I was not paying for. He imediately told his colleague to lock the door and then they grab the policeman. The Pleasantville policeman came in and made me paid them for the buzz cut hair cut then he said to go get fix somewhere else. Guess Mr Magnotta its been 24 years and you should be shame. Treating a service member as such. You should ashamed and yes good thing google is here and I can write this. Been treated as such when I was 23 and walking into your barbershop was a mistake. By the way, I m still serving in the military.

Just got my hair cut by Gabriel and man, did he do an amazing job! Super friendly and the whole experience was just pleasant. Moved to the area recently and was pretty nervous about finding a new barber, especially after sticking with the same one for nearly 5 years. But I gotta say, this place is now my new go-to. They really pay attention to detail here. 5 out of 5 stars for sure! 👌🏼🌟

First barbershop haircut I've had since quarantine- everyone wore their masks (including me) and there were clear plastic curtains hung in between the chairs for extra safety. My hairdresser also mentioned that they sanitize often throughout the day- I felt very comfortable and like any COVID risk was mitigated as much as possible. I went to Maria and got an AWESOME haircut, the best I've had in a very long time. She was super friendly too and made me feel at ease. 10/10 couldn't recommend this place more!!
