Irene's Hair Salon

Irene is the best. I've been getting my haircut by her for almost 30 years (dating back to when I was a kid). She's not only great at what she does, but she is one of the most genuine, kind people you'll ever meet. She's always in a positive and upbeat mood and you'll leave feeling happier than when you arrived. Within the last year, my wife and I have brought our son to Irene for his first, second and third haircuts. It's truly come full circle. Give Irene a shot, you won't be disappointed!

Irene is simply the best! I just started going to her and have gotten so many complements on my color and cut. Recently I had some surgery on my forehead and the trauma caused significant bruising around my eye. I was worried because I had a lot of business meetings to attend, and I looked scary! Irene was able to style my hair so that it covered the area of the surgery perfectly! In addition, she recommended that I wear glasses to cover the bruising under the eye - it was a perfect camouflage. What a sweetheart she is!

I used to work in the area when Irene started cutting my hair. I don't work or live nearby now but I still make the trip from Manhattan just to have Irene cut my hair! She has great curly hair and does a great job with my curls too. That's hard to come by! The salon is small and simple but clean and very friendly. Her rates are also very reasonable, an added bonus. Highly recommend!
