Penasquitos Barber Shop

Pony is great! I feel like I get good consistent haircuts here. Once I started coming over the last year or so, I never felt the need to go anywhere else. The price is fair and I feel like he gets my cut right every time. Very appreciative of his services.

Started watching a Clint Eastwood movie and realized I should write a review for this barber shop. Excellent haircuts, spectacular environment, highly recommend!

Unfortunately, this place has gone downhill over the years (basically since new ownership took over; Pony bought the original shop from the original owner a while ago). At first, customer service was good, but he rushes too much now, and prices are through the roof. It used to be $12–$15 for a regular haircut + tip; now it's $25 before tip. I don't have much hair and am balding, and used to get a buzz cut. The price has doubled, and they still expect tips, even though they have low operating costs: clippers, scissors, and fewer barbers than before. Oh, and customer service is gone. Since I'm basically bald, I stopped going and now shave my head. I used to go 20 miles to here, even after I moved away from PQ. I'm not going to pay more for so little hair and even worse customer service. N

It was a pleasure, went to this barbershop on a whim, Hair was Way past shoulder length and “pony“ did a most beautiful job creating a short style haircut. We will be back & we rate the whole experience five stars 100%‼️👍🏼💯
