Pannawich Advanced Thai Massage

I've been here twice for the intense therapeutic massage and I love it. I've had some really tight muscles that chiropractic care and PT didn't help to resolve, so here I am. Really high quality massage, BUT don't come here if you like light Swedish massages. Paolo uses a lot of pressure to relieve problem areas so if you're super tight or have had long term pain areas, this is the place to turn to. If you want a relaxing massage, he's probably not the best person. Love how the massage ends with tea and chocolate. Highly recommend. I also never feel pressure to tip a certain amount and if Paolo wants to work on a really problematic spot, he will go over time to make sure he is giving you his best service.

My yoga teacher recommended Paolo and after what she told me - Paolo is a true healer. Therefore I wanted to give it a try. So far I’ve been there three times for 2 hours Advanced Thai Massage with Paolo. He is very professional, has amazing knowledge of the whole body and is really polite. I have problem with my shoulders/neck. But suddenly I also got a “tennis elbow” and had pain for quite some time. I really can't say enough good things about Paolo. I'm a professional athlete that has gone through the gamut with bodyworkers, physical therapists, massage therapists, healers - you name it - I feel like I hit a gold mine when I found Paolo. He is extremely passionate about his work and making sure that his patients heal and feel better. I've come to him with multiple issues now and his massage therapy has solved them all. If you're looking for someone that massages you because they want you to get better and not just because it's their job and they are counting down the minutes until the hour is over, then come here.

Paolo is an advanced massage wizard, and you don’t need to go anywhere else if you want a deep, therapeutic, and one of a kind massage. I have been to 4 Thai massage places in SF, 1 in LA, 2 in San Diego, 1 on the peninsula (other than Pannawich), 7 different places in Thailand and I have neverrrr had a massage like the 90 minute thai/therapeutic one from Paolo. It hurt (he said it would!), because he gets deep in the nerves where other massage therapists are afraid to go, and he really knows the body. This would be an especially great massage for someone with specific issues or sports folks. His room is well decorated, peaceful, clean, and you get delicious tea and chocolate to seal the deal!
