Orbit & Rust

I almost don't want to write a review...and that's for wholly selfish reasons; I don't want Natalie to get too booked up to cut my hair! Having recently moved to the area, I had to find a new salon - I trawled through Google and Yelp reviews and I asked around, quickly narrowing down to Orbit & Rust. I was told that I was in good hands with Natalie or Siobhan. They were both friendly and welcoming, and I loved the little salon. My hair needed a good cut and new layering...and Natalie did a wonderful job - not only that but I felt there was a good balance of conversation while I was there; not too many questions but also none of those awkward silences. I booked my next appointment on my way out and I would happily recommend to others.

I had such a wonderful experience here! Siobhan and Natalie were incredibly friendly! The salon is super cool, decorated in a very indy, very bright way. Siobhan styled and cut my hair and did an expert job from her consultation to the styling. I will absolutely recommend her to a friend ;) You won't be at all disappointed. Orbit & Rust is a gem in MV.

Siobhan is fantastic. She's warm and friendly and makes me feel very comfortable. She's a great hair stylist and I'm happy to have found her. She is by appointment only.

Natalie is a true professional and artist. She doesn't need to be told how to cut or color my hair. I tell her what I want and she gets us there. Highly recommended!

Siobhan was so attentive and gave me an excellent cut and color. She even texted me after to make sure I was happy with the length and offered an adjustment for no charge. Found my new go-to salon.
