I’m so glad I found Amy at Onyx after moving from out of state! I have long hair with highlights and admittedly very high expectations when it comes to my cut and color. I’m happy knowing my hair is in great hands going to Amy. She’s also very friendly and a lovely person. The salon is beautifully designed, clean and organized. The other stylists are also really nice and looks like they do a fantastic job with their client’s hair as well.

Don’t hesitate another second to book an appointment with Amy. I NEVER write reviews, LIKE EVER, but I was so happy and relieved to have found Amy I felt compelled to write a review. She is so talented. She magically transformed my ugly, stringy, and damaged hair with 1 year of grow out (dark roots). I sent my daughter the picture of my hair after my appointment (see below) and she did not believe that was really a picture of me. Amy is so nice and strives to accomplish exactly what you want while making sure at all times you are aware of what she is doing. I am so impressed. Make an appointment now while she still has availability! She moved here from Scottsdale and the more people find out about her I believe her schedule will become packed. I was initially hesitant to go from long hair to a completely short style after years of having long hair. Amy was incredibly kind and patient, taking the time to listen to what I wanted and what I was nervous about. She actually started cutting my hair in stages, allowing me to see how the length looked at each step. This way, I could decide if the length was good or if I wanted it shorter. Even though it took longer, Amy sensed that I wanted short hair but wasn't 100% sure. She made sure to give me plenty of options along the way, ensuring I was comfortable with each stage. Not only do I absolutely LOVE my new haircut, color, and highlights, but I've also been enjoying all the compliments over the past 24 hours! We brought our teenage daughter here for a cut and style. Fay was her stylist, and she had the most experience of anybody listed on their website. Our daughter loved her haircut! The price on the website was the price that we paid, and Fay earned every penny of her tip! We were able to make the appointment online, which was very easy and convenient. We will definitely be coming back here again.
