I decided to get my hair cut here because it was on the more affordable end. However, you pay for what you get!! If you have any attachment to your hair, and I do mean ANY attachment, please shell out a couple of extra bucks to go to a trusted salon. I got my hair cut by Li (the owner). My hair was waist-length, and I asked for a trim since I have been trying to grow it out. After the first cut, my hair was noticeably VERY choppy and uneven. It looked like I had haphazardly cut it at 3AM with a pair of kitchen shears. I asked for a revision, which she granted. My initial intention was to trim off max 2-3 inches. I’ve been going to Rosa regularly for my haircuts (short-mid length + layers) for a few years now and she always gets it right. She’s always very attentive and knowledgeable, so when I decided to dye my hair recently I knew I had to book w/ her. I found the salon on TikTok and saw that Rosa was a highly rated stylist so I booked with her. Unfortunately, my experience was very uncomfortable. From the start, my interaction with her felt awkward and impersonal. There was a lack of warm greeting, no “how are you?”or “how was your day”, and that definitely left me feeling like I was not wanted there. When I explained that I only wanted to trim about an inch off my ends, Rosa insisted on lecturing me about hair care and tried to convince me to cut more than I was comfortable with and this made me feel very pressured. I probably had to say the words, “I’m only comfortable cutting off one inch” about 13 times. She then goes on to ask me how frequently I trim my hair, to which I told her 1-2 times a year or whenever I feel like I need a

I love Brianna!!! I went in for a trim and wanted bangs and she did so perfect!! Right after the cut i wasn’t sure if I’m into it but the more I look at it the more I love the way she trimmed overall!!! See picture before and after (the one with bangs is after). Also - Brianna is super fun to talk to and very efficient. Love her!!! Will come back. I also got TONS of compliments of my hair!!! LOVE!!!

I had a wonderful experience with Li, the owner of the salon. My hair was extremely long, uneven, damaged, and full of split ends, and I wanted a healthier look with more volume since it was very flat. Before starting, I asked Li if the style that I want would suit me, and she took the time to explain what she could do to achieve the look I wanted. She made sure we were on the same page before beginning the trim, which I really appreciated. The end result was exactly what I hoped for. My hair looks so much healthier and has great volume now! The price is also very reasonable. As a college student, finding an affordable hair salon in SF without breaking the bank can be tough, but this place offers great quality at a budget-friendly price.
