Olympic Barber Shop

Some people like to have their hair “styled”, and that’s cool I guess, but this guy is a BARBER. He cuts your hair. End of story. No small talk, no BS, great price, and he’s unbelievably efficient. I never want to go anywhere else.

This business lost 2 protentional customers, possibly more who may read this review & feel the same way. Backstory. My husband and I both have really short hair, very low maintenance. Called to schedule a no fuss trim for short hair no styling, etc. Explained this to the person on the phone. Was told it's $20 for men and $30 for woman! Neither of us will be visiting this misogynist barber shop! We go only to barbershops that offer equitable pricing for everyone. We avoid all others, like this one, who don't.

The positives: This was my go-to spot for haircuts for the past few years. I appreciate how quick the haircuts have been with good results overall and the place has a great old style barbershop feel. The negatives: I have a “three strikes and you’re out” rule with barbershops. I came in with stitches in my scalp (about 6 months ago) and pointed them out before the haircut, but the barber vigorously combed my hair and caught and yanked the stitches (ouch!). Ok, honest mistake but no apology. A few months later, I returned and while shaving my neck I got a small cut by the straight razor. He quickly treated the area to stop the bleeding, but again, no apology. A month ago, I asked my eyebrows to be trimmed…he didn’t use a comb and used the straight electric clippers and trimmed most of them

I’m Dimitrios’ grandson and he always takes good care of my hair. His coworkers are very nice and do the same thing as he is. But my grandpa Dimitri is lighting fast and very neat with the hair he cuts. You’re in and the when he cuts your hair, you’re out in less than 5 minutes. Amazing place.

Dimitri has been around forever! He can cut your hair any way you request. And he is fast! I have been going to this barber shop for more than 15 years. Definitely recommend!
