I received a Swedish massage. My massage therapist was Michael. He was polite and respectful and discussed specific areas of concern to address. The staff is pleasant. Dressing rooms are a bit cramped, but there is a cozy waiting room with refreshing water, tea and light snacks. I am now scheduling monthly massages. I also have my brows done by Julie. She is awesome!

I had a wonderful experience at Blu Water. My robes soft and comfy while waiting in a relaxed area stocked with healthy snacks and a variety of teas. I had a customized facial with Norya who suggested the services I needed and informed me if they costed more. I had a body polish but I wish I had upgraded it to a massage. I liked that they sold a variety of skincare products as well as jewelry, scarves and handbags. My appointment was scheduled the day after DC’s historic snow/sleet storm and they were flexible with rescheduling. All in all, I’m glad I found Blu Water. I discovered the day spa when I needed to restock my Eminence Skin Care products which I’ve been using for years.

I had an amazing 90 minute deep tissue massage with Michael. The pressure was firm and consistent. He was professional, respectful, and made me feel completely comfortable the entire time. I fell asleep at one point which never happens for me during deep tissue work. That says everything. Highly recommend if you’re looking for someone skilled, attentive, and truly effective. I’ll definitely be back.

Julie is an absolute master of eyebrows. Years ago as a teenager, I had an aesthetician at another spa remove almost all of one eyebrow and half of the other one, and I was terrified to get my eyebrows done again for about 15 years after that. Five years ago a friend recommended BluWater to me, and they have hit it out of the park every time. I get brows, massages, and pedicures done at BluWater. It’s such a calm, relaxing atmosphere as well, so I always feel rejuvenated afterward. It’s well worth the 30-40 minute drive from my house. Highly recommend!
