Old School Barber Shop

CLEAN THIS PLACE. PLEASE! GET A STEAM CLEANER FOR THAT FOYER AND A NEW DOORMAT, WASH THE WINDOWS! I got my husband to go here on a neighbor's recommendation. My husband (and I) have been very pleased with the cuts that he has gotten here. The stylist is a very nice efficient hairdresser. But the place, the place could really benefit from a serious deep clean. The tile in the large foyer area is dirty. The rug at the entrance should be replaced and burned. The furniture likewise could use a steam clean. Bulbs in the chandelier are out, likewise part of the barber pole light. The windows need to be washed. You have a good staff in a large shop in an expensive area, it should be clean. I meant to give a 3.5 but I can't get a half star to work.

I like this place, it's not too busy so I feel comfortable just doing a walk-in appt while out for a walk around Avondale. The staff is very professional and know what they're doing. My husband and son liked their haircuts too.

My cut and experience wasn't great. When trying to explain my needs and the peculiarities of my hair. The woman cutting it copped an "I've been cutting for 10 years....don't tell me how to how to... blah blah" type attitude instead of listening! The place was empty.but there was some adult male on his phone loitering in one of the other cutting chairs I presume was her boyfriend there just hanging out? made it a bit creepy

I went in with shoulder-length hair that hadn’t been cut in over a year. I showed him a photo from Pinterest with a significantly shorter style I’d never had before. He cut my hair and trimmed my beard in just 30 minutes. I can honestly say he made it look even better than the photo I showed him. It was hands down the best haircut I’ve ever had, and the price was very reasonable.

Michelle did a perfect job in my 2 year olds hair. Nice and gentle with him and exactly what I wanted ❤️ thank you!
