Luminous Therapeutics Medical Massage

I have been seeing Lisa for several months now based on recommendations from some physical therapists I trust. I had a massage therapist I was seeing weekly for 15 years, and she retired earlier this year, so I needed to find another great and reliable therapist who is clinically minded and has experience with musculoskeletal issues/abnormalities. Lisa has been that person. She had some big shoes to fill in my case, and she has done an amazing job! She is knowledgeable and consistent and takes time to understand my needs and adjusts each treatments accordingly. I have a suppressed immune system, and Lisa has been more than willing to accommodate my requests, so that I can best protect myself and health during treatment. Lisa has been instrumental in providing pain relief for my hip issue. After years of trying to work it out myself with foam rolling, hip mobility exercises and weight strengthening; I am finally pain free when getting out of a chair and I can now sleep on my right side. I am on a maintenance program with Lisa once every 4 weeks. I still do mobility and strength exercises. Her prices are reasonable and worth every penny! I am a 57 years and my hip pain started after going through menopause. I do believe post and pre menopause women develop muscular skeletal related issues and medical massage can provide healing and relief.

I was referred to Mary for myofascial release massage to treat old scar tissue on my lower abdomen and tight shoulders and hip muscles. I felt relief after my first visit. I went back for additional sessions and each time Mary knew exactly the areas to treat and applied very specific (and painless) techniques that I have not experienced anywhere else. On a side note, and a plus for her patients, she is working on finishing her kinesiology degree.
