“My First Visit Felt Like I’d Been Coming Here for Years” I wandered into Nu Nails on Water Street this Sunday not quite sure what to expect. It was my friend’s very first pedicure, and Brandon treated him with such gentleness and care that it instantly put us both at ease. You could tell he took pride in the work, making sure every detail was right. Hannah worked on my nails and didn’t just jump in — she removed my 22-day-old powder dip for free, helped me choose a nail color I’d actually love, and guided me through which services would be best. She was patient, never pushy, and her skill made my acrylic nails look so natural you’d never guess they weren’t my own. We were in and out in just over an hour, but somehow it didn’t feel rushed — more like being looked after by people who care

I should have taken into consideration all the bad reviews they had. I'm taking the blame. This guy Brian not only did a very lousy job but he totally overcharged me for it. I have never paid so much for a plain manicure and pedicure. I asked for my favorite color, and he didn't like it, so he was opinionated in a diminishing way. After he thought I was cheap, he kept speaking Vietnamese and ignoring me. I do not recommend this place at all. Some nice lady was trying to excuse him when she saw me at the parking lot taking pictures of my toes and nails. Chances happen only once.

Dirty. Health Dept was there last time I was. They had several violations. I never went back. The table that nails are done on are dirty...dust everywhere. Manicure instruments not sterilized and packaged for each client. I did not see them wipe pedicure area down after clients. I insisted on a clean unused nail file...they use the same one on many people and you must speak up. Do not go to this place .

A bit disappointed. Wanted to give this place 5 stars since the manicurist Hannah was very nice. I didn’t notice my nails until I got in my car to leave. Went in for a gel manicure and as you can see, the ends of my nails aren’t covered well, there’s polish all over my fingers (which was hard to get off especially on that ring finger), and some of my nails had sharp edges still. I should also mention that I had a 6pm appointment and didn’t get started until 6:20pm.

people were nice. I usually don’t come here, but they are the only one open on Sundays around the area. I saw the bad reviews and shouldn’t have taken them as lightly as I did. We got there and it was completely empty. The tech was nice, not sure her name. All I wanted was a basic French tip with a slight coffin. Something easy and basic. Was charged $85 for a full set that I had to cut off when I got home 😂😂😂😂 I don’t have the heart to say anything but when she told me my total I laughed out loud. It’s a shame. Cute place, nice people, but HORRIBLE work.
