I took my wife to get her hair cut here, as she thought of getting a quality haircut while visiting Columbus. The hair stylist was very nice and skilled in knowing how to cut Asian hair, she was thorough in the process and styled my wife's hair nicely. In the end, my wife's hair looked good and she was satisfied. Not only this salon provides quality service, but the place is beautiful and modern, and they even have free drinks for customers to grab, too! Overall it was a good salon experience for my wife, and we will be back to have my hair cut as well, sometime.

Very satisfied with my hair cut. The salon is clean, modern and spacious. They have light music playing in the background which makes the hair cut enjoyable, comparing with some other salons that play loud and noisy music. They also have free drinks and water for customers which is very thoughtful. Overall a five-star experience!

THE BESTTTTT. I’ve been coming to Chris at New Wave for probably a decade now, and he’s the most skilled/experienced hairdresser I’ve found. He came highly recommended by not one, but two friends. My friends had very different hair (one super thin and one super thick), but somehow both managed to have a lot of dimension and movement after a really well-tailored haircut. I specifically remember one of them asked for a cut that looks good without her having to style it, and it really did lay nicely with no styling required. The salon has mutiple suites, designed to cater to your unique beauty needs. The whole place has Chris’ signature style all over it - it's modern, it's chic, it's simply spendid and a must-see! This is now my favorite place to get a haircut in Columbus. The stylist knows how to cut Asian hair. He was very knowledgeable and had helpful insight on the haircut that I wanted. He was able to point out why previous barbers were not able to cut it as well as he did. Afterwards, people from my workplace, church, friends and family, complimented my haircut. It is pricier than going to A Great Clips. However, if you want an excellent haircut (especially Asian hair), I feel like it's worth the extra money. If you just want an average, not bad, haircut then just go to a Great Clips.
