you’re considering going to this salon, please be careful. I went in for a simple wash and set before going out for the day. It was my first time there, and it was very busy, so I patiently waited. The owner had a male stylist wash and blow-dry my hair. He seemed rushed that day, but my main concern is how aggressively he blow-dried my hair—so close to my scalp that it was burning. Two weeks later, when I washed my hair, I discovered it was severely fried and shredded, with short, broken pieces sticking out. This experience left my hair badly damaged. From what I experienced, they do not seem to care about properly handling or caring for Black hair. I am truly upset and would recommend finding a different salon. I believe the shampoo and conditioner had a perm chemical in product.

Had a great experience, very friendly staff and affordable pricing. I had a wash and press as well as a trim. Update: It's been 3 weeks since my visit. I am very satisfied with how the style held up and appreciated the new look. However, I washed my hair this weekend and was quite alarmed at my results. There was a very strong smell once water touched the hair and persisted after several rinses. I have been natural for nearly 10 years and my hair has not reverted to its original texture. I have little to no curl pattern and the perimeter of my hair remains bone straight even after deep conditioning and treatments. Attention, natural hair girls! I recently visited this salon it was affordable and had friendly staff. However, as a black woman with thick type 4 hair that is not relaxed or often straightened, my experience at this salon resulted in significant heat damage to my hair. I specifically went in for a wash and blowout, but the stylist proceeded to flat iron my hair after the blowout. Throughout the blowout, she applied intense heat directly to my scalp without using any heat protectant. Despite my discomfort , the stylist continued. And had the audacity to become annoyed when she was BURNING MY SCALP instead of being considerate and lowering the heat. My hair suffered significant damage as a result.
