Nails Number One

Normally, I don’t leave reviews for places even when I am disappointed in the service, but this place was so disrespectful that I could not ignore it. I came to this place because I had a gift card that I needed to use so I thought I’d give it a try. I walked in, said hello and was looked at with confusion. When asked, I said that I needed a pedicure, a fill and a cut down. They sat me in the pedicure chair and didn’t ask anymore questions other than what color did I want. Normally, I have more thorough conversations because yes, I like a design on my nails, but no one decided to talk to me any further than the initial conversation. The woman that did my toes did a very good job so I have no complaints with her. I have no complaints about the ambience because the meditation music was won

I have been coming to this salon for over 10 years and I am highly disappointed in the recent services I have received. I have brought my concerns to the owners of the salon and have been told each issue was my fault knowing that the service provider did not do decent work. Their pricing is absolutely outrageous for the low quality nails and sadly bad attitudes towards customers. I am a black woman I’ve noticed over the years they treat their black/brown clients as if they cannot afford their services and deserve lower quality service. I should have wised up and went somewhere else but they have not always been like this and I had grown to love the salon however there needs to be a BIG change if they want to keep loyal clients. I walked in on a Saturday. The staff is friendly and the salon is clean. I like that the prices are up and clear at the register. I got a gel manicure and that’s what I was charged for, nothing extra. Lina did my nails and she was amazing. Lina was gentle when cleaning up my cuticles and meticulous. I chose OPI funny bunny for my color, she did 3 coats as she recommended and I’m very satisfied with how my nails came out.
