My 3-year-old decided to accompany me to a haircut, and when she started getting bored, Sunny gave her a manicure. He was so sweet with her and totally charmed her to sit still. The glitter nails turned out beautifully- I’ve never been able to get her to sit so nicely!
It was a rainy gloomy day as I was waiting to attend a festival.. had extra time to kill and needed a pedicure. So glad I found this place!! Some sunshine through the cloudy day! Nina, the owner herself, did my pedicure, did not try to upsell me between pedicure vs spa pedicure, explained the honest pricing between each and helped me choose the right one. She is a lovely business woman!! They are short staffed today and she is handling almost all of it today! Running the business, taking calls/appointments, and providing nail service to several ladies all at once. I'm so impressed and honored to have her do my nails. The price is very reasonable especially for this area! She did a fantastic job, and was SWIFT! This was one of the quickest, best pedicures I have gotten. She is very neat and
I’m sure Nina herself is great but it was my first time getting my nails done ever and nobody asked me what I wanted, just what color. This was the result unfortunately and it’s peeling off :/ it was done by the boy, not who I assume to be Nina herself. I’m sure she’s wonderful
Loved going here! I don’t get my nails done often but went to get a mani (gel) and regular pedi for vacation. They took their time and payed attention to detail. I’ve been to other places in Dc but have not had anyone who took their time like these ladies!
Update: One of my fingernails has chipped & two of my toe nails have broken six days later! Probably one of the ugliest manicures & pedicures I’ve ever gotten. The location was also dirty and run-down. And they do not sanitize their tools. First off, I waited 45 minutes after my appointment and I couldn’t even leave because they had me soaking in an acetone bowl (weird, considering every other place uses cotton balls & aluminum foil), which made my nails brittle and my skin burn. It is also extremely overpriced - I paid $98 for an extremely basic gel manicure & an extremely basic pedicure, which is ridiculous. They also charge you a load extra to remove your previous gel/powder. They don’t give you lotion or a massage or anything which I’ve received at every other nail salon I’ve gone
