Nail Time

I went to the salon 5 days ago with my young daughter and was presented with multiple staff looking confused and mouths full of food. It was difficult to explain to them what I wanted because they could not understand English very well. They tried to separate me and my daughter even after a young man translated for us that this was not our wish. Customer service needs improvement. They did well enough for my daughter and the woman that did her pedicure was very nice and thoughtful. I was thinking because of how well she handled her that maybe I’d go back to that establishment for pedicures, but when I called because I need my nail repaired from a poor dip job, she said that she may or may not charge for it. I paid $50 for manicure and dip (just 5 days ago), the manicure was poorly executed

New edit: I cannot shout Travis's praises enough!!! Seriously top notch nail tech and artist! I only give him a theme to go for now and love watching him have fun with doing the designs! I just added some pictures to the page but I will also add them here, both sets Travis did just yesterday and 2 weeks prior. I constantly get compliments and tell everyone who did them! And now, whenever Travis does my nails, we tend to have others coming over to watch which always gives me a giggle and a smile. Love this shop, Travis is one of the best nail techs I've ever had, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Its been almost a full year now for these nails and I'm here every 2 weeks for my fill and new design like clockwork with no plans on stopping anytime soon. Especially with Travis there. I've been seeing Kim here for about 5 years now, and she takes wonderful care of me, whether it's the basic service or the more expensive treatments. The entire staff are always friendly. JT runs a tight ship and has built repeat business most salons can only wish for. I ALWAYS get compliments on my brows, and my mani-pedis. I may not have the prettiest hands and feet, but Kim makes them look 1000x better. ☺️

*** UPDATE: the manager himself reached out to personally apologize and offer to make things right which was really honorable and so very kind. I’m going to give them another try and hope the next time it goes ok.*** I could give 0 stars I would. It’s a beautiful shop and I was seated right away even though I was a walk-in, but the woman who did my nails was so rough it was unbelievable. My nails have absolutely no shape to them it’s almost comical. The dip on my thumbs doesn’t cover them all and she used gel topcoat, not dip top that air dries. She didn’t even ask if I had a preference. For $51 dollars I’m dissatisfied and so angry I listened to all the glowing reviews about this place. I’ll try somewhere else next time.

Waste of money and time. Could have painted my nails at home for the service my mom and I received today. Very disappointed! We were rushed into choosing a color for our pedicures then from the moment we sat down to the time we had to let the nails start to dry we received a 15 minute service. They didn’t ask what kind of pedicure we wanted just what kind of nail polish. The lady who did my mom’s pedicure rushed through hers only focused on the cuticles on one foot and only cut one foots nails and excess skin around the nail. She also was in such a hurry she didn’t even paint the full nail on a few of her nails and left the nail polish on the skin. There were no massages of the feet or legs. It wasn’t busy in the pedicure section so I don’t understand why we were so rushed. My mom and I we
