Just left Shine Hair Designs after a much needed trim! I went in today with my wet hair in a braid, full of chlorinated water after having just left the pool. This is my amazing result! I’ve been going to Shine Hair Designs for about a year and a half now. Selena Rodriguez is the stylist who works on my hair. She is phenomenal. I have thick hair and most stylists will tell me I need to “thin” it out. Not Salina. She knows how to cut and style my locks without using those thinning shears. The first appointment was to help grow my pixie cut out. She knew exactly what to do and gave me a timeframe of how long it would take to get the desired results I was looking for. One time after returning from a four month family emergency my hair had grown out considerably and I needed Salena’s help to get it back into a cut and style that I had in mind. Jennifer Hershner is the best! She is kind, caring, friendly, and is great at making us ladies look beautiul after leaving her. I always enjoy my time with her and relaxing some during my hair coloring and haircut. She matches color perfectly and listens to you and offers valid advice and suggestions. Overall she does a WONDERFUL job!

Unfortunately after two + years, I was dealt with the biggest disappointment, and experienced full blown display of unecessary vindictive behavior for simply pointing out disappointment with the results of the highlights. Initially the cut/highlights were great but overtime the quality of service decreased. My concerns were with the discoloration, product's reaction causing very obvious "bleached" yellow hair. Dec 2024 I had to be rescheduled with someone else due to my regular stylist being out.
