Have been going here for over 10 yrs. Always a good experience, gel manicure and regular pedicure and eye brow wax. The long time staff are excellent. For the experience and cost, I keep going back. Make an appt, that’s the key.

I have been getting acrylic nails for years and have previously went to mya nails and had a great experience, unfortunately that was certainly not the case today. I went in and showed a picture of the length and nail shape I wanted, and then verbally clarified I wanted long nails. She then cut the acrylic to an appropriate length, but through the process kept filing the nails down significantly. Even after she put on the gel polish she continued to file the nails down even shorter. The nail tech was already quite aggressive so I did not say anything which is my fault. I then went home and took a comparison picture and was horrified with the comparison. Third time here and had yet another wonderful experience! Kathy is so sweet and incredibly meticulous with nail shape, the polish, and designs. She took the time to draw on little gems with my french tips which turned out super cute. And the hand massage with the lotion at the end is arguably the best part, hahah. Definitely recommend! It was my first time ever doing a cat eye so I was unfamiliar with the process. I picked the cat eye color but didn’t realize I was supposed to pick a base color. I even told my tech that I’ve never had cat eye before but she didn’t even advise me to pick a base color. So I just had the glitter polish and was charged full price ($53). I think it’s overpriced and ridiculous that 1.) she didn’t ask/advise about a base coat and 2.) I was charged full price for essentially 2-3 layers of polish. Today is shy of 24 hours since I got them done and 2 nails already chipped. I’m disappointed in the dishonesty by omission. She did do a good job with cleaning my cuticles and mentioned gel removal is free and suggested to come back for removal as to not damage my nails. So that part was nice. But I don
