This place is amazing! The therapist made me feel comfortable and at ease, and knew how to make my experience comfortable and relaxing! The bed was warm and the sheets were comfortable, and she got all my tight spots out. I’ve been struggling with tightness for a while, and I felt so much better after coming here. Would definitely recommend!

I go for a massage several times a month and was excited to try Mustard Seed for the first time. The space is cute and clean and the appointment started off well. The technician sat down with me and I requested a deep tissue massage and noted a couple of problem areas. Once she started I was surprised at the long pauses with little activity. A few minutes in she asked how the pressure was and I shared that I prefer a lot more pressure. When she responded, she seemed annoyed and she patronizingly explained that she would warm up each area and then do some deep tissue work. The deep tissue work never occurred; it was the softest massage I have ever had, and her disapproval after my first request deterred me from speaking up again. Booked a couples massage and had the best experience! The staff were so friendly and accommodated to each of our preferences for the hour. Xavier gave me the most relaxing massage with medium pressure while Crystal gave my husband the works to relieve his tension. Will definitely recommend and go again!

I visited Mustard Seed Massage on Capitol Hill (8th Street SE). I live in the Capitol Hill neighborhood, so I was able to walk over, but there’s plenty of street parking nearby if you're driving. My appointment was on a Saturday at 11am, so I stopped by Jacob’s Coffee next door beforehand for a coffee and a bagel—super convenient! I booked a 90-minute hot stone massage and a 20-minute salt room session. My therapist, Henry, was professional and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I was so relaxed I fell asleep halfway through—drooled on the face rest pillow and everything! The salt room was also a peaceful experience, with a tea/coffee station, dim salt stone lighting, and calming music (Alexa is in every room). The check-in and check-out process was smooth. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Chakra massage by Latisha Fyi, this location requires walking up a few exterior stairs and buzz in via doorcam, then walk up a flight of interior stairs, to a beautiful spa - Lobby has complimentary hot tea and water - Entire spa is thoughtfully updated with a soothing, calm feel - Staff are helpful and friendly - I walked away feeling completely transformed! It was exactly what I needed! I HIGHLY recommend taking care of your essential needs of healing, relaxation, detoxing and pampering using Mustard Seed Massage! You're welcome 😊
