I had an amazing experience at Mona Studio! Mona is incredibly skilled, with 25 years of experience, and it truly shows in her work. She gave me the most perfect layered haircut—better than I could have imagined! Her attention to detail and precision made all the difference. I highly recommend her if you're looking for expertly styled layers. Plus, supporting a local studio like hers means getting personalized care that big salons often lack. Definitely my go-to hairstylist from now on!

Her prices are great. If you want consistent haircut for boys, she's great. You just have to remind her what blade to use for the sides each time you go for a hair cut. I usually take pictures of the hair cut and I show her again the next time, so she can replicate. She's just trying to make money the best and honest way. She's not the most couth or most polite. She tells it like it is. If you're expecting a great customer service, then you're going to the wrong place. If you want a consistent, fast haircut for your young kids and men, then you're good at Mona's. If she raises her price, I would probably go somewhere else.

They are very accommodating here and it is worth waiting for a stylist. I have been coming here for years and prefer this South Asian salon over the many ones in Chicago. Thank you to the friendly staff at Mona's!
