Gloria was absolutely amazing, I called last minute with an emergency and she fit me in no problem. She was incredibly kind, funny, and so knowledgeable about the color matches and products she was putting in my hair. Copper can be a hard color to get right but I could not love it more. 100% recommend Gloria and Monarch Studio!

This salon is more than just a place to get your hair done it’s a full experience. It manages to feel both luxurious and welcoming at the same time. The team is incredibly talented, and you can tell the stylists are carefully chosen to work together it feels like a family. The salon itself is small, cozy, and beautifully designed, with thoughtful touches like private shampoo rooms, eye masks, relaxing spa music in the shampoo rooms , a stylish bathroom, and complimentary refreshments. I especially appreciate their high tech color system where you only pay for exactly what you use to the dot, which feels fair and transparent. Overall, it’s a salon with talent, integrity, and ingenuity. I love Gloria as well! That’s my girl there <3 she’s so talented.

I highly recommend Monarch Studio! I see Gloria for root touch-ups and haircuts and she’s amazing—she always listens and gives me exactly what I ask for. I actually followed her from her previous salon because she does such a great job! I’ve also gone to Cindy before and she’s amazing as well. The studio has a very relaxing, welcoming vibe. It’s a newer salon in a beautiful space and I consistently have a wonderful experience.

I have mixed hair texture and its honestly really hard to find someone who knows how to style it amazingly without damaging my hair...Cindy is the absolute exception. She is truly a queen when it comes to hairstyling, blowouts and don't get me started on her scalp massages. I have been going to her since 2015...I even moved to LA for 2 years and would literally drive down to San Diego for a hair apt with her, she's that good. If you are looking for the best bang for your buck and a hairstyle where others ask where do you go, look no further. Monarch Studio is it.

This is my second time visiting Monarch Salon, and once again, it was a wonderful experience. The salon is beautifully decorated, and I absolutely love the atmosphere. Everyone is welcoming, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Even the hair-washing station felt like a spa experience—it was incredibly relaxing. They provided a blanket and an eye mask with aromatherapy, which made it even more enjoyable. I’ve been going to Gloria for the past couple of years, and I couldn’t recommend her more. I have wavy hair that can be difficult to manage, but she knows exactly how to work with it. She listens carefully to my needs and communicates clearly throughout the process. Her attentiveness is truly amazing. She does an incredible job on my hair every single time!
