Sofia’s talent with both color and cuts is outstanding! She really listens to what I want and always delivers results that exceed my expectations. My color always looks vibrant and natural, and the haircuts are flattering and easy to style. On top of that, Sofia makes the whole experience comfortable and enjoyable. I always walk out of the salon feeling beautiful and confident. If you’re looking for someone who truly knows hair, Sofia is the one!

I booked with Sofia after seeing her on social media and was looking for a salon closer to my neighborhood! I am SO PLEASED with my haircut and color, she’s an expert at blending and toning, and was able to do exactly what I wanted and more! On top of that, she is so fun to chat with, I’m glad I found Sofia!!!Cannot wait for my next appointment!

I had a very pleasant experience at Monarch Salon on Union Street on a Tuesday. Both girls working were very welcoming when I arrived. I booked a color(balayage)/cut with Alyssa and I’m very happy with how my hair turned out! I usually dread getting a color/cut in the same appointment because of how long it can take but my visit was very relaxing and enjoyable. Finding a stylist who just “gets” what I’m looking for the first time around has also been challenging since moving to the city 4.5 years ago, but Alyssa nailed it! I’ll definitely be back for more services with Alyssa!

Sofia is an absolutely incredibly talented colorist and stylist, definitely the best I’ve ever met! She helped me go from natural brunette to the most beautiful blonde balayage right before my wedding and absolutely nailed it. I’m a perfectionist myself (especially before my wedding), but she takes perfection and skill to another level. I’ve never had my hair look so amazing in my life and I felt incredibly confident throughout my wedding and honeymoon. She knows color theory better than anyone else in the city and I’m so excited to recommend my friends to her.

Zena is truly amazing! I’ve been going to her for about a year and followed her to Monarch Salon from her previous salon - that’s how much I trust her. She always knows exactly what to do with my hair and gives great, honest recommendations. She’s super consistent, passionate about her work, and has such a warm and friendly personality that makes every appointment the best experience. Highly recommend! <3
