Great new organization and team that supplies weekly 📰 news in print and digital editions. They do listen to the locals and share opinion articles and stories to try and stay unbiased. Good reporters and excellent writing whether you live in town and follow along closely or have moved away and want to keep up with the larger stories and news.

Brandon is doing a job that requires courage to stand on the lines and take incoming praise and attacks from the public. Reporting what needs to be said, bringing to light what is true, what is sad, what is funny, and to bring joy to peoples hearts. Sometimes reporting the news is not a popular thing to do but you can be assured it will have been researched to check for accuracy and honesty. He doesn’t bring only negative news about something or someone but tries to show the happy and the good side as well! Keep up the good work Brandon!

Mitchell News Journal is a great asset for Spruce Pine and Mitchell County! Brandon has done a wonderful job staying on top of events in the area and keeps us all informed.

The MNJ is the best! I subscribe, and I look forward to gwtting my paper every Wednesday. I can also read online- it's awesome! All community events are covered and all the color is just wonderful!
