Abbey is a rare find. Professional, grounded, deeply intuitive. I’ve had a lot of bodywork in my life and this was the most impactful session to date. I felt seen, cared for, and genuinely transformed afterwards.

I don't write reviews but I am making an exception here. For better or worse, my mental health is tied to my physical health. Due to a leg injury, I lost my ability to bike or play tennis. I came to Meta Physio with a year plus of physical therapy and several conflicting orthopedic surgeon prognoses and treatments. Abbey has an encyclopedic knowledge of every tendon, ligament, and muscle in the body and the biomechanical chains they impact. This proved invaluable for my recovery journey. She takes the time to explain things in an easily digestible way and even brings text books of biomechanics and biology. I love tennis and bicycling and friends have suggested it is my answer to existential emptiness. Having it taken away from me was both physical and mentally trying to say the lea

I can't recommend meta physio more. Abbey is a wonderful, caring person and also a great massage therapist. Her practice is a lovely balance between relaxation and massage therapy. She is very attentive and responsive to her individual client needs. Before each session begins she spends a little time discussing what areas need focus and problem areas. I always feel welcome and she just has a kind, gentle way of being. All that being said, Abbey is strong, capable and can deliver whatever amount of pressure is desired.

Went to Abbey about 6 months ago and have been back 3 times since. Originally went based on the recommendation of a friend for relief from typical neck/shoulder stress, but I also had a chronic hip issue that had me limping for 4 months and which I assumed was not something massage could address (felt like joint damage). After 2 sessions, hip issue was completely resolved and I have a greater appreciation for what an intuitive therapist can accomplish - Abbey takes a very holistic approach, addressing the source rather than just the immediate symptoms. Highly recommended, whether for general self-care or a specific, chronic issue - her presence and office space are immediately relaxing, and she knows what she is doing.

I cannot express enough how great Abbey is as a massage therapist. With the stress of work and the pain of play (getting older!) my appointments with Abbey are an oasis from the everyday. As I walk out from a session in my relaxed state, I am already looking forward to my next visit. Best Therapist around!
