Mended Ends Salon may have a new name, but it’s full of familiar faces who have been serving the community for decades. My hairstylist, Jaime, and her husband, Mark, are now the proud owners of the shop. Jaime herself has worked here for over 20 years, and I’ve been a loyal client since 2012 when I first moved to Suffolk. Even after moving to Yorktown in 2016, and later to Elizabeth City in 2023, I still make the trip back to see Jaime—because once you find someone who truly understands your hair, you don’t let go! Jaime knows exactly how I like my hair, and over the years our relationship has grown from stylist and client into a genuine friendship. Wow.WOW.Wow. I am a former client when this location was "Natural Image Salon". This is my first time back, since. Cassidy absolutely WOWED me at my 1st appt. I have VERY difficult hair texture (curly/dry/frizzy) that most stylists struggle with. However - Cassidy worked with it with ease! When I left - my hair was so healthy and the color so beautiful & vivid - I felt like a different person!!! Cassidy listened and gave me EXactly what I asked for and she was also cognizant of the health of my hair. I was nervous going in but amazed going out. I have received so many compliments on my hair since. I have definitely found a new stylist and colorist! Cassidy is a natural and definitely mended my ends and gave me beautiful hi & low lights. I would give 6 stars if I could.

The atmosphere is welcoming, the stylists are amazing, and it feels like home. I wouldnt go any where else.
