I’ve been cutting my hair with Max for four years now, and I couldn’t be happier. Before finding Max, I used to cut my own hair because I could never trust a barber to do exactly what I asked. They would either cut it too short or not enough. Max, however, is very friendly, attentive, and does exactly what you want, every step of the way. His salon is also top-class: clean, with very polite employees, and great for quick cuts. I recommend Max to anyone who wants excellent service.

We had a very disappointing experience today at Max Fellopa Salon. We drove all the way to San Mateo because we had previously had a good experience with our son’s haircut. Unfortunately, today’s visit was completely different. I’m not sure if the hairdresser was having a bad day, but he was extremely rude and disrespectful to my family. While cutting my older son’s hair, he made a scene in the salon, loudly complaining about the noise made by my younger son. We will not be returning to this salon, as we have no interest in supporting a professional who claims to specialize in children but behaves in such an uncontrolled and rude manner in the presence of two young boys.
