Maui Nail Bar

$65, 2 hours, gel everywhere, and tons of cuts along my cuticles… my hands are stinging writing this hours later! I hate leaving negative reviews but with the risk of contact dermatitis from the gel stuck to my fingers, the uneven and haphazard shaping of my nails, the blotchy polish application, and the cuts lining my cuticles I feel like this is a warranted review. Not to mention it’s $15 extra for chrome, the colour swatches are dirty and old, and they were out of the first 3 colours I picked. It shouldn’t take 3 people 2 hours to do these nails.

Update: I had to do a round of antibiotics and it still didn’t clear up so on an antibiotic cream now. Had a gel pedicure and got a toe infection. Super sore. Not sure how well they clean their tools. Also never been to a nail salon where they charge $25 extra for gel polish. All the swatches look like they are from 50 years ago. Always only been $10-15 more at all the places I’ve gone.

Stayed close by at a condo for vacation and needed to redo my nails as I had several cracked nails (dip). I called first thing at 9am on a Friday to inquire if they had availability and was told I could come in now. Beach nail salon with comfy massage chairs for pedicures. Only one other customer was present when entering. I was serviced right away and my tech did a great job with my dip mani and middle tier pedicure. Salon seems like a mixture of regulars and tourists. I did notice the phone ring a few occasions for customers scheduling appointments so best to call ahead unless coming in earlier for a walk in. Prices were reasonable. Try to tip in cash. My nail tech (I’m so sorry I forgot her name but she was wearing black shirt and jeans this morning) did a great time efficient work on m

I used to get my nails done here when I lived in Maui back in 2020 and 2021. Cindy the owner does an excellent job so I had to pay her a visit while I was visiting in Maui! Thank you once again Cindy for my beautiful nails & wonderful service, it was great seeing you again.

Highly recommended! I was on vacation and needed to fix my broken dip nails. The ladies were able to accommodate my walk-in appointment right away. They did an amazing job on my pink and white ombre acrylic nails! Their attention to detail was impeccable and the nails look near perfect. Worth every dollar.
