I cannot say enough good things about Stephen. As an ultrarunner, I get regular massages to keep the legs loose and avoid injury. I do not think it is an exaggeration to say that my success on the trails last year was in large part due to Stephen. He is a consummate pro, with a nuanced understanding of the tiny ligaments, tendons, and stabilizing muscles that need work, but that regular stretching can't reach. While I'm sure he's great at the traditional, relaxing Swedish massage, my time with Stephen was more along the lines of "hurts so good." Stumbled onto Stephen on vacation in Santa Barbara. My sisters neck and back went out. She yelped(cried) and We Yelped to find Stephen. He answered her prayers, she was able to find movement in her neck she hadn't had in years. Stephen saved our sister Celebration. As for me, I've been driving from LA and seeing him ever since. Having many masseuses over the years, Stephen is the Best. His intuitive nature unearths and releases tightness and I feel and move like a 30 year old. Stephen is the best massage therapist I have ever been to. From a relaxing light masage to a full on deep tissue sports therapy massage he can do it. He always gives the full hour or even more, and the price is incredibly fair for the amount of experience and the skills he has. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
