Let me start by saying that I’m also an African so I mean no prejudice when I write this review but the particular African Lady I met at the store on Monday should work on her costumer service skills or she is going to drive every one of her customers. She was rude, impatient, refusing to talk to me unless I wear mask even when I told her I was fully vaccinated. The hair I bought was supposed to be 100% human but my stylist told me it’s not and it cannot handle heat. I went there because i wanted to support a black owned business but I will not be spending money in a business that’s disrespectful to me. Our people need to do better! And contrary to what the seller said it was after the mask mandate was lifted. I read through other customers reviews and they all complained about her attitud

Yesterday 9/23/25 I went to shop at Marie's Beauty Supply. Wow the chosen manager that works inside is not a mature man to over see the store. The male manager displays a childish level of business operations. Truthfully yesterday was not my 1st encounter with this low minded individual, he showed his lack of customer service competence when he refused to offer assistance/support to the owners family relating to locating a wig. Why? would Marie as the business owner of this shop leave her business in the hands of a highly immature person to bring down the reputation of all of her hard work. In addition I really believe that the shop's prices are too high, but I still stayed a customer due to the fact that I enjoy recycling the black dollar. My favorite BLACK OWNED beauty supply in all of DC. Krissy is always so sweet, helpful, and has great customer service.

Another friendly and supportive interaction at my local beauty supply store. Took inspiration from the owner and added some color to my style and I love it.

So my daughter order hair from this company it was supposed to come 24 to 48 and then they said they would ship and it will be here Saturday it’s Saturday it never came, she calls to to get a refund they said they would issue the refund but not the shipping refund, so I called the African lady is so disrespectful and unprofessional this why I only go the the Asian places.. I will never refer anyone to them or order from them ever in life.. Bad business
