Kim is a true expert. She has been my colorist for many years and I am so excited to see her thrive in her own salon. The place is gorgeous, relaxing and welcoming. My balayage is perfect, grows out nicely and lasts between appointments. Kim is excellent at listening to my needs and translating them in to whatever service will get me there. I cannot recommend her enough.

I had been seeing Kim for many years, back when she was at a different salon. After Covid shifted my routine, I tried several other colorists closer to home. But after several years of having status quo hair, I remembered just how exceptional my hair looked when I went to see Kim. Her eye for color is impeccable. I have always left with a shade that complements my skin tone beautifully and looks both refined and natural. When I decided she was worth the drive back into DC, I was thrilled to learn she had opened her own salon! The space feels like a tucked-away retreat, a cozy spot with a great view overlooking Wisconsin Ave. Something to also note for anyone that has neck issues, is that the shampoo stations are genuinely comfortable and unlike anything I've ever seen! Kim is the best colorist in Washington, DC! My hair is very dark and she is a pro at covering my gray so it perfectly matches my natural color. I have been seeing Kim for over 15 years. She recently opened her own salon and it’s a beautiful light-filled space right on Wisconsin Avenue in the heart of Georgetown. Parking is super easy on the side streets. I highly recommend!!!!

I highly recommend Mane Street salon! Not only is Kim the BEST colorist in DC, she is delightful and her highlights are flawless. My blowout by Elisa was world class and lasted (and looked great) for days. The salon is welcoming and stylish, the receptionist made me a perfect latte, and it honestly could not be a more pleasant experience. LOVE!
