I’m so happy I found this Dominican salon! I went to Maggie’s today and wow… she did NOT disappoint. You can instantly tell how much experience she has — she truly knows what she’s doing. I went in for a haircut and left obsessed with how my hair came out. The energy in the salon is amazing too. Everyone was so nice, welcoming, and made me feel super comfortable from the moment I walked in. So grateful to have found my new go-to spot! Highly recommend. 💛

I had previously come to this salon for a bang trim and then went to Celadon Salon in downtown DC where I kid you not, I got a bang trim that looked as though a elementary school kid with safety scissors went at my hair…(literally never go there and certainly never ever ever get your hair cut by Jason Ketterer). I say this to preface my visit today as Alma Maria - hair stylist, SAVED MY BANGS/FRINGE! I will attach pictures to show you the before and after because… it was so bad before Alma helped fix my bangs. I feared that I would need to get micro bangs to fix the choppy cut I had from Celadon Salon m but thanks to Maggy’s Beauty Salon, I could leave the premises and safely be seen in public. Needless to say, I will be going to this salon in the future for my maintenance haircuts. Hair

My experience is always wonderful and pleasant. Every time I want to look gorgeous and pamper myself I come to this beauty salon. Maggy is professional and her staff is excellent as well. They’re like a family. I receive good compliments of my hair. If you want to have the same, this is the place you need to come. Note. Call the salon to Make your appointment with Maggy. Also, you can for Melvin, Doña Milagros, Delsa and Alma.. a allá of them are excellent and know how to cut hair for men as well.

This salon was fantastic. This was my first time here and I will definitely be coming back. My stylist was Milagro and she was not only kind, but did an incredible job. I had a wash, cut, style, and eyebrow wax all done very well in under an hour! The prices are reasonable and the service was prompt and professional, and everyone was very friendly.

EDIT: They deleted their response where they admitted they caused heat damage. The photos are pretty hard to deny. Luckily, I took a screenshot so I’ve attached it here. An incredibly unethical salon. Not worth the trouble or damage to your hair. Literally might as well buy a hot comb and burn your own scalp for less. If you want straight hair at any cost and do not care for damage to your hair, visit this shop. If you only wear it straight, then this is a good place. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend this hair salon to anyone. I am in Richmond but travel often to DC for work.
