Ly's African Hair Braiding

Asked for individuals. They braided it to the scalp in the back. Asked for small braids. They braided them large , considering my hair is short you’d think that they would know small braids would be th best option. I wasn’t rude with any of them. I told them what I wanted and they gave me what they wanted me to have. Didn’t make a full two weeks and they started to come out.

I love these ladies..tree braids, box braids, cornrows and knotless... they are price efficient, professional, kind and we always share a laugh. Ms. Ly and Mona are amazing. There is one other lady that worked on me (but I don't remember her name). It's been almost 2 years I've been using them; highly recommended.

Ly has been my go-to for braids for over 20 years. She's the best with tree braids, period. She and Mona are my favorites but everyone in her shop does a great job and they have great prices.

Not a good experience. Cons: - Arrived an hour late - Told to purchase Kanekalon hair. Ended up wasting 4 packs of it because"it was the wrong kind of Kanekalon". -Epic failure with the hair style although I showed multiple pictures and told them while they were doing it it was wrong. - had four different braiders making for different sizes and different lengths. - I was blamed for it not coming out right because I bought the wrong hair. -no replacement of the wasted hair which they could have told me it was the wrong hair before they started - Spent Nine hours to walk out with my hair looking worst than it did when I arrived. Pros: I did get my money back and had them take it out. Most of the staff was nice. I'm disappointed it didn't work out.

They charge great prices for two strands on short hair and do it very neat
