Luxury Nails

I visited this salon on two different days—once for a nail removal and again for a polish—and both experiences were subpar and disappointing. During my first visit, I needed an acrylic removal because one of my natural nails had broken and keeping the fake nail on was painful. My usual salon was closed, so I came here instead. The two technicians used a nail drill to scrape off the acrylic, which I had never experienced before. Normally, the nail is filed down and removed properly. This method left my hands extremely powdery and dry. I was told to wash my hands, but that did nothing to help. Given how dehydrated my hands were, they should have at least been moisturized afterward. Because it was close to closing time, I didn’t say anything and decided to return the next day. zero stars. What says “luxury” about putting lotion and oil on your clients dry hands at the front desk? Or attempting to do their nails over a stranger's cuticle debris? I’ve never had to request a clean towel for my manicure ever. When I first visted I wasnt sure if I wanted to follow through with a fill but I did. They rubbed non acetone on my nails and tried to gaslight me into believing I had gel nail paint which is 45$ to remove so they say. I think this was their way to either get more money or to get rid of me. I went back to my hotel and quickly buffed off the regular polish. Then I went back to “Luxury” Nails and the man I was dealing with before suddenly didn’t want to service me anymore. He wasn’t busy. I have been going here for years. I even brought my 93 year old Mother here when she was alive. We both loved this salon! Most importantly it is clean from the stations to the washroom! My nail stylist Hillary is the best for me and her husband Thomas fills in and does my nails also. Hillary even helps me figure out different nail designs. Hillary is so patient and kind she is the BEST! There are all very talented nail stylists and they are all very good! If I could give this salon 10 stars I would! I am a minister and never have I been uncomfortable in this place!

I got my nails done here two days ago and they are already chipping and lifting. I wasn’t happy with how they looked but when I got home they already had started lifting up on the top paint layer. I put my own top coat on it but now more of my nails are lifting and the paint underneath is still wet. I was charged $55 for a full set and will never be going back. I can go to the nail place across the street (Angel Nails) and get the same price but 100x better.

Claire and Anna were amazing. They took their time and everything was absolutely perfect. They’re so kind, patient and nice. The salon is also spotless and super clean. Chill vibes and very good service. 20/10 would recommend. I got a pedicure and a gel x manicure and I don’t think my feet and hands have ever felt and looked so good. My mom also got a regular manicure and absolutely loved it. Thank you again for everything & I will be back very very soon.🙏
