LN Beauty Express

I had an appointment at LN Beauty Express in Houston for highlights, and my experience was extremely disappointing. Emily was my stylist. I showed her clear pictures and videos of the color I wanted, but the results were nothing like what I asked for. She applied bleach to my hair and left it on for over an hour and a half — twice — claiming she couldn’t achieve the color because I’ve used dark dye to cover greys before. I’ve had highlights done before without issues, so this explanation didn’t make sense. After washing, toning, and doing a softening treatment, I noticed severe breakage where the bleach had been applied twice. She will give you good advice on what would be more flattering for your hair type and healthy. Not to mention, I absolutely love the oil treatments!

I had a really disappointing experience with Cathy. She left the bleach on my hair for far too long, even after I told her I was worried about breakage and asked her to remove it. She didn't listen. The final result was not a balayage at all and looked nothing like what I asked for. On top of that, she cut off a lot of my hair, which felt like it was done to hide the damage from the over-bleaching rather than fix the issue. I trusted the reviews saying Cathy was good, but that was not my experience. I'm really unhappy with the outcome and wouldn't recommend booking with her.
