Probably should not be writing this — but not giving my man Joel a 5 star review would be selfish on my part. I reached out to a stranger when I needed him most — right before wedding day over a year ago. I trusted him based on some research I did when I first moved to Santa Monica. He delivered with the perfect cut and now I will never look back. He always listens, creates, and executes with precision and perfection. I look forward to my barber shop sessions to catch up and enjoy his company as well as feeling fresh and clean with the perfect fade and detailed texture up top afterwards. Thanks for the hard work, time, and attention to detail, Joel. Now, everyone pretend I did not write this so I can still find an appointment time to get in!

Been coming to Lloyd's for 3 years, originally the Downtown location but that location is essentially closed all the time now due to lack of business. I usually see Samuel, who is always the best and is usually the best and since he wasn't available decided to see Jesus, who was seriously unprofessional…pretty clear why he has so much availability . He called me a few minutes before I came in and I said I was a few minutes away (about a mile). I drove from downtown la to this location and came in exactly at 11:45 (they have a 15 min wait period). Rather than take me (since im a regular) and understand I came from a far distance he instead had already began working on someone else before 11:45 and essentially told me to leave. Love the Barbers here! Omar and Jeanette are my go to! Customer service is great, love the atmosphere. It’s inside the Brentwood Country Mart so you can grab a coffee or something to eat right after. Their online system makes it easy to check availability and book an appointment.

Unfortunately, I’m not a fan. I paid 75 dollars and ended up going home to have my wife fix the haircut the barber gave me. Will not return.

Always enjoy Lloyd’s since the first day I tried them out. Great staff and always a good haircut. They’re quick, pricing is a little high for a men’s haircut, but I can’t knock it with the quality I receive every time I visit.
